Seafood Datasearch was founded by John Sackton in 1994 to provide market analysis to individual sectors of the seafood industry with market updates and price forecasts. Since then he has specialized in annual reviews of the lobster, crab, and other industries in Atlantic Canada with emphasis on the US market, but including Europe, China, and Japan. This new website is to provide data support for the industry in 2025 in the face of potential disruptive tariffs.
